What is Cache Memory?
[Cache Memory]:-Cache memory is another type of high speed electronic memory which is present in between RAM and CPU . It helps to enhance the CPU performance as it stores the frequently used data and instruction in it so that they can be accessed quickly by CPU. It is very expensive and its storage capacity is very low it reads the data and instruction to be processed by CPU ,sends it quickly to the CPU when requested for the same. Because of it lower accessible time it bridges the gap between the CPU'S operating speed and lower accessible speed of the RAM .
It is used to speed up and synchronising with high-speed CPU . Cache memory is costlier than main memory or disk memory but it is economical than CPU registers .
